2025 Goals & Manifestations

I love that 2024 is ending with a Black Capricorn Moon which warms my little fishy-goat heart.

This year has been quite the rollercoaster for my personal life. I started the year with a rocky marriage and am ending the year looking forward to my upcoming divorce. Next year will be full of legal paperwork and reminding myself that it's not my job to fix other people's mental health. Wish me luck and send the positive vibes as I continue to discover who this thirty-seven year old lump of flesh wants to become.

I spent time during winter solstice manifesting author goals for the upcoming year. Not only was it beneficial to spend time working on my mental health, but it helped me realize all that I've accomplished as well.

In June of 2024, I hosted a backyard Summer Solstice for my local writing group where we reflected on our yearly goals, re-directed as needed, and reset more for the coming season. I'm proud to say I did complete a few of those goals!

The first and most important being, the completion and forthcoming publication of my debut novel: FarrowHaven AdventureLand: Spring. This book was a labor of love, written and edited even amongst a large group of naysayers in my life. Part of me realizes that I finished her out of spite, but the bigger part of me knows that isn't a bad thing either! Other goals included joining a writing group. Making writing friends. Starting a writer social media account. Calling myself a writer and an author!

1. Connect with 5 indie bookstores (about stocking my book)

2. Be on a local television network promoting my book

3. Gain 1k followers on Instagram

4. Post consistently on social media

5. Connect with 10 new readers who love my book (family and friends don't count)

6. Finish writing FarrowHaven Book 2

7. Finish writing Cozy Zombie Book 1

8. Read 10 Books

9. Send monthly newsletter

10. Attend writing event as an author

11. Attend writing event as a reader

12. Sell 100 books of Book #1

13. Sell 100 books of Book #2

14. Write 100k words overall

15. Create writing units

16. Attend a writing retreat

17. Gain 100 subscribers for newsletter

18. Give author interview

19. Update website monthly

20. Publish anthology piece

21. See my book in a bookstore/wild!

22. Gain 10k on TikTOk

23. Send out character promo cards
